Join us for a fun evening for a good cause! Join us for Laughs for Love, where guests can enjoy a date night of comedy and laughter with Sam Adams, a nationally recognized comedian--while helping those in need. The event includes a silent and live auction, as well as cocktails and appetizers for attendees. Thanks to our generous underwriters, 100% of the proceeds from this event will benefit those in need. About the Cause: We have chosen to partner with Operation Underground Railroad, a US-based nonprofit organization whose goal is to assist government agencies in the rescue of human trafficking and sex trafficking victims, with a focus on children. They work with the world's experts in extraction efforts to recover children and provide aftercare including food, safe shelter, and counseling for their rehabilitation. Missions are planned. The teams are ready. They just need our help. About the Comedian: Sam Adams is a unique and talented entertainer, journalist and speaker. Sam is the only dual prize winner in the history of the Great American Comedy Festival. In 2009 Sam won the festival’s amateur competition, and placed second in the professional division. Because of those performances he decided to pursue a professional career in stand-up comedy at age 49. Previously, Sam spent three decades as an award-winning newspaper sports journalist. He has worked for the Denver Post, Charlotte Observer and Rocky Mountain News. Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway paid the following tribute to Sam: “Through the ups and downs of an NFL career, I developed great trust, respect and appreciation for him. Blending an uncanny ability to mix humor with keen insight and knowledge, Sam is a one-of-a-kind storyteller.” On the stages and the pages, Sam Adams delivers quality entertainment for all of his audiences. “He had the kids in stitches as well as the seniors.
