So, you have an idea for a business.Now what?We can help you decide whether and how to proceed.This 2 hour workshop will define the steps to start a new small business in the City and County of San Francisco. You will learn and understand: differences between sole proprietorship, partnership, and a limited liability company. This workshop will not cover C and S corporations. insurance, bonding, licenses, permits, zoning, and the registration process. how to access various free resources available to the small business community in San Francisco. These resources will give you additional guidance in starting and growing your new business.This is an in person workshop during which we will observe social distancing. Those fully vaccinated do not need a mask. For those not vaccinated we request that you mask in consideration of others. About the instructor: Sergey Litvinenko is currently working on workforce and economic development with local and government organizations in light of COVID-19 pandemic. "I am an impact driven team player. I wear many hats and enjoy working on a variety of projects with for-profit, not-for-profit, government organizations, civic science groups and local communities." Sergey is also a volunteer and mentor with San Francisco SCORE. All SCORE workshops and services are provided on a nondiscriminatory basis.
