Hi, We are Venomous Hearts, a Hard Rock- Hard Driving Band based in Lemont, IL where we rehearse. We do Originals as well as Covers, and are always working to add to both.. We've been together for 18 months, and all of us have worked together in previous bands, so we all have great history and chemistry with each other. At the moment we consist of a rhythm and lead guitarists, vocalist and drummer. We rehearse every other Friday evening from 6ish to 10ish. If we have reason to, like show preparation or adding material to the set, then we'll rehearse every Friday. We would really like to fill the slot a.s.a.p. We offer a great and comfortable free rehearsal space in Lemont, near 131st and Bell Road, in the home of one the guitarists. It has a fully equipped recording studio and full PA system, and we also have our own lighting. We have been in the process of recording an album which consists of our originals as well as some of the covers we do. You will be able to lay your own tracks down with ours if you join us. We have 2 Headline shows under our belt and intend on many more to come. What we want from you is to Live in Chicago and or it's suburbs,, be 30- ish to 50 ish, have advanced level Bass skills, must have experience with and must enjoy writing and playing Original Material, have good quality gear and attitude, and a decent stage presence etc., and be committed to being in a band and dedicating enough of your time to not only practicing and working on material at practice, but that you can make time to practice at home as well. It is also extremely important that you can always make it to practice. We have serious fun playing music and would like you to be the same.
