Dr. Gloria Morrow returns to Fort Worth! In 2009, Dr. Gloria came from California to teach and mentor a small team of Master Trainers in CBMCS. Since then, almost 1,000 MHC members have participated in the 4 day training. Dr. Gloria returns to Tarrant County to present a new workshop, “Building The Beloved Community.” With an integrating focus on the principles of two concepts - Cultural Humility and The Beloved Community, as conceptualized by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. – Dr. Gloria’s workshop will increase our awareness and encourage discussion necessary to promote sensitivity and knowledge to better meet the diverse needs of those we serve.
