Immerse yourself in Maze Daiko's blend of Japanese taiko & West African drums. You're cordially invited to be immersed in an inspired performance from Alameda's amazing Maze Daiko.⠀⠀ Maze Daiko's shows are a wonder; full of energy, movement, and celebration. The group creates an innovative sound through mixing traditional Japanese taiko with West African drums and marimba, and European violin. While it sounds cool, you really ought to see and feel it in person.⠀⠀ This Saturday they will be visiting our store and performing live on the Paseo of the Castro Valley Marketplace. The incredible event serves as an exclamation point for the recent one-year anniversary opening. We also hope to bring greater awareness to the work of Alameda's Rhythmix Cultural Works, of which Maze Daiko is a part of.
