Indie Rock xBk Presents Bad Camper w/ Dickie ADVANCE: $10 // DOS: $13 DOORS: 7:30PM // SHOW: 8PM Bad Camper Sometimes you have to travel the world to realize everything you’ve always wanted was closer than it seemed. This is the lesson that Matthew Fisherkeller, aka Fish, learned after 9 months cycling around the world with nothing but his guitar. During his coming of age journey Fish wrote the songs that would eventually become the music on Bad Camper’s debut album “What You Love Comes Along.” Bad Camper’s music combines indie rock with alternative and folk influences, creating a sound uniquely their own. While Fish’s voice is reminiscent of vocalists like Brendon Urie, “What You Love Comes Along” also draws from the folk harmonies heard in the early releases from of Monsters and Men, the introspective lyrical content of The Head and the Heart, and the chill energy of Sublime As Fish and Bad Camper’s journey developed, they joined up with co-lead singer Celia Rath to create their upcoming album. Accompanied by accomplished musicians Michael Abrams (Drums), Jack Reed (Bass), and Michael Kohl (Lead Guitar) the band will perform their original material on their first national tour this summer and fall. xBk is a 250 cap entertainment venue/listening room dedicated to creating superior live entertainment experiences in a diverse, inclusive, and welcoming environment.
