*Free* ACHE Face-to-Face Panel & Dinner Event: Fostering Inclusion of Patients and Employees with Disabilities (1.5 ACHE F2F Credits) ACHE of the Triad cordially invites you to learn about "Fostering Inclusion of Patients and Employees with Disabilities" as we restart Live, In-Person Education Events! Additionally, a boxed dinner meal will be provided for attendees along with bottled drinks. Please note that Union Square is a mask-required facility except when consuming food/drink. Audience seating will also follow social distancing expectations. Full 90 minutes of panel attendance is required to earn 1.5 F2F ACHE Credit Agenda: 5:30pm -- Boxed Meals Arrive & Member Networking 6:25pm -- Announcements, Instructions & Introductions 6:30pm -- Panel Topic #105: Fostering Inclusion of Patients and Employees with Disabilities (1.5 CEU's) 8:00pm -- Session ends, request for event feedback forms Moderator & Panelists: Panelist: Alicia Caldwell - Alicia is Executive Director of LIVE Better, an organization impacting community health by providing services and programs to inform and educate on the correlation between health behaviors and chronic illness. She is a survivor of disabling conditions and is driven to empower people to improve their well-being. Panelist: Dr. Kris Roberson - Dr. Roberson is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Winston-Salem State University teaching in both the Master of Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. She is also a certified Family Nurse Practitioner and maintains active practice providing primary care for underserved and disadvantaged populations. Her research interests include cardiac health and disease and research translation. Panelist: Nicole Herring - Nicole leads the HR compliance and leave and disability functions for Cone Health and provides oversight of regulatory reporting and responses, leave and disability processes and programs, and worker’s compensation. She was influential in the system-wide rollout of Just Culture, implementation of the policy management system, Policy Central, and system-wide anti-harassment, and discrimination education. Moderator: Dr. Alvin Powell - Dr. Powell serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Annie Penn Hospital and is the Chief Equity Officer for Cone Health. Dr. Powell is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology, and is past president of the medical and dental staff of Cone Health, past chair of the medical staff peer review committee, and current member of the credentials committee and the Physician Council for Equity.   Program Partners Reduced participation fees for all ACHE of the Triad programs is due in large part to the generosity of our annual partners.
