Description

It's Pow wow time in the city!!! Bring the family out and enjoy Native American dance, drumming, arts and crafts, and traditional food. Guilford Native American Association welcomes you to join us in our 44th annual Pow Wow and share in our Native American culture. Pow Wow time is that time of year when Native Americans get together to dance a little, sing a little, visit with old friends and meet new ones. We celebrate our history while practicing traditions of thousands of years past. Historically, many of the pow wows were ceremonial an held sacred meanings. In the present day, pow wows are still family-oriented and allow us to share the Native American culture with others.
