The Brothers Gillespie Presented by The Grey Eagle and Worthwhile Sounds ALL AGES The Brothers Gillespie The Brothers Gillespie make their Grey Eagle debut on Saturday July 3rd with an ALL AGES show at 9pm, and tickets are on sale now! 8PM DOORS / 9PM SHOWALL AGESSTANDING ROOM ONLY THE BROTHERS GILLESPIE Drawing from their Southern Appalachian roots, and channeling the gritty rock n roll they were raised on, The Brothers Gillespie spin heartfelt yarns with an alternative edge. In late 2018 The Brothers up and moved to Johnson City, TN where the youngest brother was getting an education in Political Science and Country Music Performance. After a fall of consistent performances mostly around the Appalachian region, The Brothers Gillespie turned their attention to recording. April 2019 saw the release of their debut album, “Love and Death”. Garret Woodward, contributing writer for Rolling Stone magazine, quoted “It’s an impressive release from a young band, one that pushes The Brothers Gillespie across the threshold from weekend warriors, to an actual touring act.” Mr. Woodward was right, starting in the late summer of 2019 The Brothers Gillespie embarked on a South East tour that took them to Dallas, Nashville, Charleston, Charlottesville, and every honky tonk and dive in between. After a tumultuous year for the music industry and the world at large, The Brothers Gillespie return to stage and studio in 2021 to continue spreading their brand of folk flavored rock to the South East and beyond.
