Expanding furniture repair company is looking for technicians. Job Description: House calls to inspect damaged furniture items and assess for repairs either on site or in shop. On site repairs to furniture Transport and in shop repairs to many different types of furniture Furniture repair experience is not required but a huge plus. We will train 100% IF you have the ability to learn quickly. Repairs include everything from basic touch up on modern furniture to complete antique restoration to refinishing. All tools and provided and a company vehicle is provided for all work related driving. Ideal candidate is EXTREMELY reliable, professional and well spoken. We deal with a high end and very particular clientele who can be very upset about their damages. You must have strong customer service skills and the ability to calm down angry clients. Mostly clean MVR is needed. Criminal background check completed on ALL hires. You must be ok with driving a lot as we will cover large areas around Austin and most days involve some type of schedule on the road. You must be a self starter and not require constant instruction. Monday through Friday is typical-8-4 or 5. We are not open holidays. Occasional Saturday is almost guaranteed. Willingness to travel to AZ for some training is a huge plus.
