Mark the year anniversary of the John Lewis Act passing the House Join the League of Women Voters of Coastal Georgia in Johnson Square for a candlelight vigil to support The Good Trouble for Democracy Movement. The Good Trouble Vigil — held on the first anniversary of the passing of Rep. John Lewis — will celebrate the Georgia Congressman’s legacy and promote passage of the For the People Act, the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, and D.C. Statehood. Communities across the country will gather peacefully to demand that Congress act to protect our freedom to vote and rebuild our democracy. Bring yourselves, your friends, and a candle!
