Our Annual Chaplains Training will take place on Friday, October 1, and continue through the afternoon of Saturday, October 2, and will be held at River Church in Raytown, MO. The event begins at 6:30pm on Friday and will end at 4:30pm on Saturday.
Our presenter this year is Dr. Matthew Sleeth, MD. A former emergency room physician, Dr. Sleeth resigned from his position as chief of the medical staff and director of the ER to teach, preach, and write about life, faith, and the environment throughout the country. Dr. Sleeth is a graduate of George Washington University School of Medicine and has two post-doctoral fellowships. He is also the author of 24/6: A Prescription for a Healthier, Happier Life.
Dr. Sleeth will be speaking to all of us on the topic of “Chaplaincy in Difficult Times: When There Aren’t Enough Hours in the Day.”
Childcare will be provided for children ages 1-11.
The Chaplains Training is designed for not only Foursquare chaplains and associates, chaplain candidates, and their spouses, but also all who are interested in Foursquare chaplaincy are invited to attend.
This year we have early bird registration, regular registration, and at the door registration. These are the dates and prices:
