Parking Lot Sweeper Route Driver (South Bay) compensation: Salary 30k per year to start during first 30 days- Evaluation and increase after 3 months of service employment type: full-time Sweeping shift 5 days a week, plus one Saturday night every three weeks. Full Time Routes start between 8pm- 12pm and end between 3am- 8am the next morning, times vary depending on the number of stops per night. Please send resume- Job Description 1. Perform basic pre-trip inspection, which includes oil level, tire pressure, burnt out lights etc. 2. Drive the truck from site to site- perform routine sweeping of parking lot- dust and dirt 3. Sweeping on job site includes: sweeping parking lot, empty garbage cans and doing necessary out of truck work with back pack blower, push broom and shovel. This job has a dusty component please be aware 4. Complete paperwork upon completion of night 5. Training period will constitute a supervisor riding with you to do the training on-site until you are ready to sweep alone and take over the route on a nightly basis 6. Punctuality and honesty are expected. After training is complete you are on your own and are expected to perform in a professional manner and display quality work Job Requirements 1. Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record. 2. High School Diploma or equivalent desired 3. Must have ability to speak, understand English. 4. No alcohol related convictions within 7 years. 5. Able to lift 50 lbs. and climb in and out of a standard pick up size truck. 6. Able to work around dirt, dust, and noise associated with heavy equipment. Skills 1. Read maps and follow driving directions. 2. Solid knowledge of traffic regulations and safe driving practices. 3. Communicate clearly and effectively 4. Ability to work independently, organizational skills, and a positive attitude are required. Employee Benefits- after 3 months of full-time service 1.
