Groundskeeper needed immediately for the exterior of a large private residential property in Santa Rosa. This is a full-time, live-out position, Monday-Friday, with flexibility for the rare emergency on the weekend. Ideal candidates will live within 30 minutes of Santa Rosa. This is a wonderful long-term opportunity to work alongside truly lovely and caring owners and their house manager!! Responsibilities and Duties: - Tend to daily needs of walkways, parking areas and water features, including leaf blowing, cleaning bird droppings and cobwebs, etc. - Exterior cleaning including window washing, cleaning outdoor furniture, barbeque, and water features, clearing gutters, etc. - Minor home maintenance repairs, such as replacing light bulbs, cleaning/replacing filters, etc. - Assist homeowners and staff as needed, such as carrying packages, moving furniture items, hanging artwork, etc. - Bring garbage cans to the curb on specified day of the week, and bring the cans in the day after - Report necessary repair work to be done by outside vendors to the household manager - Assist with light construction projects alongside owner - Regularly wash vehicles and fill with gas - Bring vehicles in for service as needed - Keep the garage and tools clean and organized Skills and Qualifications: - Previous applicable work experience with references - Able to adhere to safety guidelines, and not take unnecessary risks - Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 100 pounds - Able to climb ladders - Able to occasionally work in poor weather conditions, including heat, smoke, cold, and rain - Knowledge of household and landscaping tools, both manual and powered - Flexible attitude, willing to adjust to the varying needs of the property and household - Diligent worker who takes pride in caring for a gorgeous estate - Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, problem solver - Maintain a high level of strict confidentiality and professionalism - Dog friendly Requirements: - Must have a CA Driver’s License and a clean driving record - Must pass a full background check - Must sign a contract and confidentiality form - Must be authorized to work legally in the United States Benefits: - Two weeks of paid vacation - Health insurance - Major national holidays off with pay - Hourly pay on the books, with taxes taken out To apply please submit by email your resume and some details about yourself.
