Do you have a talent and passion for art, drawing, and teaching? EBALDC is seeking energetic volunteers who would like to use their skills to teach residents of EBALDC's affordable housing sites basic art skills (drawing, painting, etc.). Volunteer role will include planning lessons, teaching drawing via Zoom, communicating clearly, and answering questions as they come up. Preference is for volunteers who are fluent in Cantonese and / or Mandarin but this is not required. If you are interested in supporting the local community during these challenging times, please respond to this posting. The East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation (EBALDC) is a non-profit community development organization with over 40 years of experience in building healthy, vibrant and safe neighborhoods in Oakland and the East Bay. EBALDC develops affordable housing, commercial and mixed-use, mixed-income projects in Oakland and across other cities in the East Bay, including Emeryville, Richmond, and San Pablo.
