Description

A volunteer-led, community-based programming class for young people! (ages 6 to 14) Our instructors are volunteers from successful tech companies in the Palm Beaches, and include Junior Developers positions to experienced Chief Technology Officers. We believe that a foundational knowledge of tech, coding, engineering, and robotics are critical for all students moving forward in their academic careers. It is our intention to facilitate the fundamental understanding of these theories and methods in order to provide students with the necessary skills needed in their future endeavors. ** This is an in-person event** COVID-19: To keep our students as safe as possible we are requiring that students wear their mask the entire time and practice social distancing as much as possible. PARENTS: Due to covid-19 you will not be allowed in the classroom with your students, but a waiting area will be available. We leverage readily available curriculum from Code.org, freeCodeCamp, and CoderDojo.   Our instructors are volunteers from successful tech companies in the Palm Beaches. They include developers from entry level positions to experienced Chief Technology Officers.
