Broward County Public Schools, in partnership with the Broward County Government Cultural Division and Broward Center for the Performing Arts, is pleased to present the South Florida Gifted and Talented Symposium to be held on Friday October 29th at Pompano Beach High School. We are looking forward to providing educators and parents with the opportunity to network and learn in a forum dedicated to strategies and practices that foster self-directed, motivated, and independent learners in real-world learning environments with "no ceilings." Sessions on how to integrate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) across the curriculum for student engagementSessions on the unique social and emotional needs of gifted childrenExemplary music performances and art exhibitions from Broward County Public SchoolsAn early registration fee of $40 is available to registrants before or on October 22, 2021. On October 21, 2021 registration will increase to $50. Registration is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend you can transfer your pass to another person.
