E.M.A Blooms & Pomelo present Garden to Vase Floral Design Workshops East Mount Airy Blooms has collaborated with Pomelo to host three unique floral workshops. Set in the quaint "courtyard at Pomelo", we will provide a fun educational experience where you will learn about arranging and growing flowers from the ladies of E.M.A and have the opportunity to shop Pomelo’s beautiful storefront after hours! Interested in learning a few floral design tips and tricks while enjoying a lovely summer evening? Then join us for one of our three Garden to Vase Floral Workshops! We’ll teach the techniques while you create your own design to take home! This is a perfect opportunity to grab a friend or two and spend a Friday evening playing with flowers, enjoying local cider and learning about how to arrange with beautiful locally grown blooms! Classes range from $85-$120 depending on what’s in bloom. Class sizes are limited to 12 people (6 people must be signed up for the event to take place). All events will be held outside, weather permitting. Should we expect rain, we will move into the floral studio at Pomelo. Our Workshop fee includes the design session, materials (flowers, vase and snips) and your very own arrangement to take home. Local cider, light refreshments and snacks will be provided during the workshop as well as a private shopping experience and complementary 20% off at Pomelo! Should you wish to BYOB, please do. Refunds will not be offered after purchase for people who cannot make it.
