Hey there! Did you know Cannabis is like any other corporate business? We have Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, Processing, Marketing, Sales, Quality Control, Accounting and HR! We are Zen Asset Management, the people behind the Artizen brand of cannabis here in WA. We are adding to our staff a Warehouse Administrator to work out of our Lacey facility. Here’s a brief overview of what this position will do, when you apply we’ll respond with the full (boring) job description. This is a rough idea of what your week will include: Oversee daily warehouse duties, including: inventory, ERP entries, noting unusual changes in inventory levels, receiving, shipping, etc. Check paperwork for accuracies and inaccuracies (we’re in cannabis, so compliance and detail orientation is super important) Daily warehouse walks and logs for preventative maintenance Forklift stuff (moving items, daily inspections for OSHA logs, you know the drill) Help out Facilities and Maintenance (F&M) with low level maintenance projects when needed (like assembling watering hoses) Qualified persons will be: 21 years of age Graduated high school or obtained GED (or equivalent) Previous warehouse experience Experienced driving both stand-up and sit-down forklifts Decent computer skills (hunt and peck typing is okay, but you need to know how to write a basic formula in Excel and use the calendar and email in Outlook) This is a Monday through Friday job, with regular hours – ideally 7:15 to 4:15, but we can be flexible within a half hour of this schedule. Being punctual is vital and having good communication with your manager when you are late or absent is just as vital. People who do well in this position tend to be prior military, or taking a break from college, or have worked in customer service and want more consistency in their week. Does this sound like you?
