Join Let's Go Outdoors for a Storyime and Craft at Kingsessing Recreation Center! Let's Go Outdoors has teamed up with Friends of the Wissahickon to offer fun, free outdoor activities for the whole family! Each event will take place on Saturdays from 10:30AM-12:30PM. Check out our page for more events all around Philadelphia. Join us at Kingsessing Recreational Center for a craft and storytime! Selected stories will include fiction and/or non-fiction titles appropriate for children up-to-5th grade. You and/or your child(ren) will have the opportunity to listen and follow-along with the selected story, as well as participate through questions! After the story, we will have a nature based craft and talk about our favorite part of the story. If you have any questions, please email [email protected]. We hope to see you there! Struggling with what to do outdoors?  We've got you covered!  With our enthusiastic and diverse guides, provided supplies and equipment, plus beginner level adventures, you can put your worries aside and join us outdoors (or indoors in poor weather)!  We host trips, neighborhood activities, trips, tours of environmental sites, as well as individual and family "adventures." So, get your pack ready (or not, since we've got supplies covered), find your favorite water bottle and select your Let's Go Outdoors activity.
