NEW LONDON, CT — One person was injured and police are searching for two suspects in a home invasion, according to police. Police received the call Wednesday at 10:27 p.m. Two suspects had entered a home in the area of Connecticut Avenue and Broad Street. When police arrived, the two suspects, one man and one woman, had already fled. Two victims were located inside the home, according to police. One of the victims was transported to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Police said the incident does not appear to be a random act. Investigation is ongoing.
