SECAUCUS, NJ — Secaucus resident Hector Reveron, 41, is charged by police with selling cocaine and heroin to Hoboken residents. Police say he sold the drugs in the area of Hoboken public housing. On Thursday, after the culmination of a two-month long investigation, Reveron was arrested by Hoboken and Secaucus Police and taken into custody. He was taken into handcuffs at his apartment on Riverside Station Boulevard, in the Xchange complex. His apartment was searched and $9,423 in cash was seized, which is believed to be derived from criminal activity, said Secaucus Police in a press release. Secaucus Police said the case began in May of this year, when they were tipped off to Reveron's alleged illegal drug sales in Hoboken. Working with the Hoboken Police Department's Street Crimes Unit, Secaucus Police's Anti-Crime Unit launched a narcotics investigation. "In May of 2021, the Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit developed information that Reveron, a Secaucus resident, was supplying a variety of drugs to Hoboken residents," said Secaucus Police. Additionally, also on Thursday, police searched an apartment Reveron is associated with, on the 300 block of Harrison Street in Hoboken. Inside that apartment, police said they found more than one and a half ounces of suspected cocaine and crack/cocaine, a quantity of suspected heroin, along with materials used to package narcotics for street sale were seized, along with $362 in cash. Ernest Walker 37, and Angela Rodriguez, 27, both of Hoboken were each charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine [2C:35-5b(2)] and [2C:35-5b(3)], Possession of Cocaine [2C:35-10a(1)], Possession with Intent to Distribute within 500 feet of Public Housing [2C:35-7.1], Possession with Intent to Distribute within 1,000 feet of a School [2C:35-7] and Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine [2C:5-2/2C:35-5b(2)]. They had both previously been observed purchasing suspected heroin from Reveron in Hoboken, police said. Reveron had previously been taken into custody by Secaucus Police only a few weeks earlier: On July 29 Secaucus Police pulled Reveron over for a motor vehicle violation on Secaucus Road. During the stop, he was placed under arrest for an active warrant from North Bergen with a bail of $350. At the time of his arrest, Reveron was found in possession of 34 bags of suspected crack/cocaine and three folds of suspected heroin. He was charged with multiple crimes and lodged in the Hudson County Jail, but released a short time thereafter due to bail reform. Reveron is now back in the Hudson County Jail. "The ongoing partnership between the Hoboken and Secaucus police departments will help ensure a better quality of life for the residents in both Secaucus and Hoboken. I would also like to thank the professionalism of the Hudson County Regional SWAT and Hudson County Sheriff's Office SWAT for their assistance in making entry into the apartments in Secaucus and Hoboken," Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said.
