GREENWICH, CT — The woman who died in a car accident on Lake Avenue Tuesday night has been identified as Serena Bechtel, 52, of Greenwich, according to police. Police said Bechtel was driving north on Lake Avenue on Tuesday when her 2013 Chevy Suburban went off the road and struck a stone wall and tree. Bechtel was pronounced dead at the scene. The Greenwich Police Crash Reconstruction Team is investigating the accident. Anyone who has information is asked to call Officer Roger Drenth at 203-622-8014.
