"Lunch and Learn" Will Teach Oakland Seniors About Scams

OAKLAND, NJ — The Oakland Senior Center and the Oakland Police Department are hosting a "Lunch and Learn" event to inform senior citizens about scams and fraud on July 20. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and the presentation will follow at noon. Register by calling the Senior Center by July 16 at 201-405-7731. The Oakland Police Department will also bring their mobile medicine drop box for those that wish to dispose of old and unused medications.
