This adorable little dog needs a special loving home with a single work from home or retired woman. · Vet estimates age at 1 ½ - 2 years · Male – un-neutered · Primarily black · Wire hair terrier / mini dachshund mix ? · Apprx 12 lbs · Partially house trained (meaning he does his business outside if you take him out, but he does not ask to go out. I have had only a very few accidents these past 5 weeks) · Gets along with most dogs and cats · Hardly ever barks. If he needs your attention he stares at you with his beautiful dark eyes and whines. · He has been de-wormed and treated with flea and tick medication. · Seems to greatly dislike men in hats · He also distrusts all men in general and young children Was quite leery of me at first (unsure if I was friend or foe), but after a few weeks of a soft voice and loving kindness his darling personality has blossomed. He follows me everywhere and needs to be held and cuddled a few times a day. Especially after I’ve been gone for a bit; just reassurance. My husband and I believe he may have been mistreated by his previous owner. Reason for re-homing: Primarily due to his lack of acceptance of my husband, no matter how hard he tries to befriend him, although he does not growl, he just avoids him or hides. · Re-homing fee is $100.00 to partially cover what I have bought for him, which will go with him. · I have scheduled first vet visit, shots, and neutering for Aug 20 with our local vet Tammy.
