By John Gibson, WNIN July 15, 2021 Diocese of Evansville Superintendent Daryl Hagan made the announcement Monday about policies at the 26 Catholic schools across eight of the diocese's 12 counties. The schools will open as scheduled with in-person instruction five days a week. In a release, the Diocese said the guidelines are subject to change if the CDC or other health experts change their recommendations. While masks for students, staff and volunteers are optional, they are required on school buses. Social distancing protocols will not be required in classrooms and vaccines are not mandated.
