Here are the top stories today in Sacramento: Sacramento County is recommending that even vaccinated individuals wear masks indoors, due to the surge in Delta variant COVID cases. Of course, they are still recommending that unvaccinated folks get vaccinated, but until that happens in greater numbers, the risk of infection due to the variant is a concern. There are currently 101 known Delta variant cases in Sacramento County. (KCRA3)Talking about Christmas in July? Yes! Let's! Especially if it's talk about the new Nutcracker that the Sacramento Ballet is choreographing for the new Safe Credit Union Theater. Three past Sacramento Ballet choreographers are putting their talents together to redesign this Sacramento favorite! Maybe, along with the Dance of the Flowers, they'll add a "dance of the tomatoes" just for Sacramento! (ABC10) I know you love your farm-to-fork, Sacramento! Heck, it was practically invented here. Let's celebrate it! The summer Farm-To-Fork Festival is back! Everything you love is returning, including the Legends of Wine event, the Tower Bridge Dinner and the Farm-to-Fork Street Festival. They are hosting a Summer Enrichment Faire at Monterey Trail High School with special education director Anne Rigali. (FOX40) Police have taken a juvenile into custody in an Oak Park homicide that happened earlier this year. Police said they were searching for this person of interest on Wednesday when he took them on a foot chase in a La Riviera neighborhood.
