STILLWATER, MN — The year that was 2020 was extremely hard on local businesses, especially restaurants that were trying to survive amid strict coronavirus-related shutdowns and restrictions.
Nearly 100 restaurants closed in the Twin Cities metro in 2020, according to the Star Tribune.

Caribbean Smokehouse The smokehouse — which was located at 423 Main Street — closed in January, well before the coronavirus-related shutdowns began.
