The City of Bradenton Police Department is seeking School Crossing Guards for the upcoming 2021-22 School Year. School Crossing Guards assist and supervise the crossing of school children at designated crossings. School Crossing Guards will also be responsible to record names, or license numbers, of vehicles violating traffic regulations at the school crosswalk and report violators to the Police Department. Applicants are required to have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and possession of and ability to maintain a valid Florida driver’s license.
Applicants must successfully fulfill, to the satisfaction of the Police Department, all of the following requirements:
• Polygraph Examination
• Background Investigation
• Medical Examination and Drug Screen
EOE/M/F/VET/ADA, DRUG FREE WORKPLACE. Successful applicants will be subject to the E-Verify Florida background check.
