Suspect Could Be Tied To 2 Armed Robberies, Police Say

FOX HILLS, CA — An armed robbery suspect could be connected to two separate robberies in the Fox Hills area this week and authorities are asking the public to help identify him. An armed robbery happened at CVS in the Fox Hills Plaza, 6299 Bristol Parkway, about 10:50 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Culver City City Police Department. The suspect entered the CVS just before closing and waited for the last customer to leave the store, police said. The suspect then approached the cashier, pulled out a gun from his sweatshirt pocket and demanded the money from the cash register. The cashier opened the register and gave the suspect the money, who then ran away and out of the store. An armed robbery was reported the next day, July 14 about 1:47 a.m. at the Chevron gas station, 5975 Green Valley Circle. The suspect approached the cashier, removed a silver-colored handgun from his pocket, pointed it at the cashier and demanded the money from the register. The cashier opened the register and gave the suspect the money. The suspect then ran away. Police describe the suspect as a Black man in his 20s, wearing all black clothing and a face mask. The suspect had a silver-colored handgun. He reportedly stole $450 from CVS and it's unknown yet how much he stole from Chevron, police added.
