Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 07/14/2021 Investigators with the Atlanta Police Homicide Unit have made an arrest in a homicide that occurred on October 29,, 2020, at Members Only Lounge located at 139 Ralph McGill Blvd NE.   Investigators found probable cause and secured Fulton County arrest warrants for Felony Murder and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon for Mr. Malik Payne (DOB: 5/1997) for his involvement in the October 29, 2020, shooting death of Caleb Culbreath. Today, July 14, 2021, Investigators with APD's Fugitive Unit coordinated with the U.S. Marshals to apprehend Mr. Malik Payne on those outstanding warrants in Clifton Township, Michigan.  He is currently pending extradition back to Atlanta, Georgia. Previously released: 203030187 On Thursday October 29, 2020, at around 2:20am officers responded to Members Only Lounge at 139 Ralph McGill Blvd NE on a report of a person shot. On scene officers located an adult male with a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital but died of his wounds. Preliminary investigation indicated that a dispute arose over admission fees to the nightclub and the victim, who was an employee of the lounge, was shot.
