Hello, So this is weird, I'm posting on Craigslist looking for a band to play with. At least I'm not on CL looking for furries! Anyway, a little bit about me is I'm a female bassist in her late 20's. I used to play in metal bands a few years ago but took some time off to focus on other career opportunities. I'm trying to get back into making music with a group instead of playing at home alone while I cry to The Smiths. What I'm looking for: - Preferably an existing band that already has material I can play and get familiar with before writing new material. Down to form something too though. - I like dark music so am looking for something ranging from darkwave to post-punk. -Musicians open to symbolic visuals with their music down the line is a plus. What you might be looking for: - Someone who's drama free and can play the notes you put in front of them. - Doesn't need to make a payday off music but is cool working towards that - Has their own transportation and job I'll be upfront about my skill level, I'm not a virtuoso but if you tab out your music I will be able to play it. I used to play fairly technical metal music but do not know theory. I'm a real person, ask to see my Instagram! Can provide previous projects or influences if needed.
