Interviewers needed for a yearly project commissioned by the Minnesota Department of Human Services - $19 hourly plus round trip mileage reimbursement from your home to the interview site and return home. Driving in Lyon and surrounding counties required but you only go to one nursing home a day in Fergus Falls and surrounding counties. Paid training starts week of September 13th- You would work for approximately 20 - 30 hours per week for 7 to 13 weeks. Monday-Thursday - Some Fridays would be scheduled - Daytime hours starting at 8:30 AM. You should be a caring, independently driven individual who works well on a team or separately and able to follow directions. You will help give elderly Minnesota nursing home residents a voice through voluntary and confidential one-on-one interviews. Extensive training provided. Must pass background and MVR check. Results from this study as well as family members and state inspections can be accessed by visiting the Minnesota Department of Human Services to access the Minnesota Nursing Home Report card. People with experience in Customer Service, Health Care, Administrative or other professions are good for this position. Retirees, veterans, students, people in-between jobs and others who can commit to the length of the project are encouraged to contact us. Attention to detail is a key. Some interviews you will conduct while sitting, standing and/or leaning over. 3) Kneeling, sitting, bending, squatting and leaning as needed to conduct the interviews. 4) Continuously carrying up to 10 pounds of materials. Interviewers must carry all materials on her/him at all times.
