Musicians/Bands for Independent Film

I'm looking to produce an independent film here in the Portland area featuring an original soundtrack. Also core to the concept is that I want to involve musicians and bands as performers in the film. It's not a musical, but will be music-heavy. The plot is modern, gritty, and very sex, drugs, and Rock and Roll. I don't want to disclose too much online but it's solid. Also, it's not closed down to just rockers. I'm open to inclusion of multiple musical forms. If nothing else, you could end up getting music video work done. If the project gets off the ground, everyone involved will have the opportunity at profit-sharing. How far this goes is totally subject to how much talent I can find- both in music and film. Right now, I'm looking for screen-writers, cinematographers camera operators, editors, MUSICIANS actors, and stuntmen. There's light stuntwork planned if I can find the right talent so martial arts background is a big plus. The plan is to get the musicians involved as actors while featuring thier music on the soundtrack. If you're interested, email me and let me know a little about you and what you bring to the table. Right now, EVERYONE is welcome- and I really mean everyone. There's a lot of shoes to fill and this is all independent, so there's no studio payroll. This is all what we can put together as a group. Thus, all types of musicians, all performers all genders, races, ages, types, and styles are welcome. The more talent we amass, the further this will go. I'm hoping to make a short feature film, heavy in music (though not a musical).
