Research Study on Hoarding in your Community

Jobs

La Mesa CA

Description

As part of your job, do you encounter people with hoarding behaviors? Do you provide services to people who have difficulty throwing things out? Do members of your community have excessive clutter? If so, Dr. James Pittman at the University of California, San Diego is conducting a research study that might help your community! This study is currently recruiting English and Spanish-speaking service providers who engage with individuals with hoarding behaviors from East San Diego and Imperial Counties to participate and engage in two focus groups to discuss treatment and service needs in your area. Focus groups will take place virtually via Zoom in the next few months. This is not an intervention or treatment group, rather a focus group to learn and discuss the needs of your community as it relates to hoarding behaviors. If you are interested in participating and helping your community, please contact us at for more information.
