Countryside Veterinary Hospital Muddy Paws Country Spa is looking for an animal lover to work with dogs and cats. Job Type: Part-time and Full-time available, schedule varies –must be flexible Job Description: Muddy Paws is seeking a reliable, compassionate and caring individual who values exceptional client service in addition to outstanding care for their furry friends to join our team for our growing boarding, grooming and daycare facility. You should possess strong communication and teamwork skills and be able to multi-task with consistent attention to detail. Responsibilities; But not limited to: Answer phone calls and assist clients with reservations and appointments Checking-in and out boarding/daycare/grooming pets Maintain client records and pet information and insure all vaccinations are current Care for dogs in the facility and follow instructions Provide each animal with food and fresh water following protocol Exercise area cleanup, including scooping dog waste (sanitize indoor and outdoor) Clean/sanitize dog runs, cat cages, kennels and animal living areas Help with washing, drying and folding of laundry Oversee & Rotate dogs from Indoor Play, Outdoor Play, Bathroom Breaks & Rest Break Qualifications: Must enjoy working with Dogs and Cats Excellent customer service skills and courteous phone manners Ability to work independently in a team environment Able to carry 50 lbs bags and boxes Able to handle large animals (up to 100 lbs dog) Must be punctual, reliable, honest and responsible Positive attitude
