Fox Hill Village, metro-Boston’s premiere upscale resident-owned retirement community is seeking a Full-Time, 40 hrs. per week, skilled and experiences Finish Carpenter to join our team. We take pride in our attention to detail, high-end materials/products, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate requires knowledge of residential remodeling, cabinet installation, finish carpentry processes and a positive attitude. • Perform skilled carpentry work in the maintenance, repair, construction, cabinet installation and finish work within the facility. • Interpret, explain, and apply building codes. • Effectively and safely operate a variety of tools and equipment used in skilled carpentry trade. • Interpret shop drawings, sketches, and work orders. • Knowledge of appropriate health and safety precautions and procedures. • Perform duties effectively, timely, with minimal supervision. • Professional client, project manager and designer interactions. • Ability to lift, carry, push and pull object(s) weighing up to 75 pounds. • Experience in kitchen and bathroom remodels and various types of millwork required • 3+ years finish carpentry experience required • 5+ years residential carpentry experience preferred Fox Hill Village offers outstanding pay and very generous benefit package.
