Hydroseeding Foreman, Trainee An established company in Galt is looking for a Hydroseeding Trainee to add to our team of Erosion Control Professionals. Starting salary $20.00/hr., $800.00 per week, based on 40-hour work week, with occasional overtime and weekend shifts. Salary ranges from $20 to $26/hr. Full time career position with benefits. Health Insurance Coverage – Employer paid for employee (HSA available thru employee payroll deduction) 401K Vacation: 1 week a year for the first year. Accrual begins immediately; 2 weeks per year for 2-5 years of service; 3 weeks after 5 years of service. Sick Leave of 6 days a year Paid Holidays: New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and 1 personal holiday. The candidate should possess the following qualification: 1. Possess a California driver’s license, with a clean DMV record. MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER 2. Must pass a pre-employment drug test. 3. Must pass a criminal background check for access to government installations. 4. The ability to navigate using GPS, converse, read and write proficiently in English. 5. High School Diploma / GED minimum 6. Reliable transportation to and from work 7. Reliable work history with references 8. Competency and familiarity with safety procedures 9. Able to sustain physical work at a fast pace including pushing, bending, lifting, kneeling, walking, and climbing ladders and steps. 10. Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions 11. Mechanical aptitude 12. Ability to function in a TEAM environment. 13. Experience with pulling trailers preferred. Other requirements: Applicant must be able to work 5 days per week, with occasional overtime and weekend shifts. Must be able to maintain a clear focus while prioritizing multiple tasks with efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently; flexible quick learner who has a proven history of thriving in a TEAM environment. Must be detail oriented and organized. Must provide proof of COVID 19 vaccination. Special consideration given to Armed Forces Veterans.
