We are looking for a team player who is skilled in apartment and home maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate will have a friendly personality and will wish to do the job right! Please no hacks or cranks... Need to have basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall skills. Need to be able to help prepare apartments for new move-ins, be able to troubleshoot problems that come up while working and figure out how to solve the problems, able to be professional and presentable, and always able to be courteous and helpful to residents, prospective residents and co-workers. Our senior most maintenance man is semi-retired and only works for us half days at this point. We have a handful of seasonal employees that have returned now for years, but most of them will be moving on next season as they will be graduating college. We have hired some younger bucks, to replace them in the future, but we need to flesh out our crew with several more full-time maintenance personnel. Happy to hire the right male or female for the position. We stay busy year-round performing maintenance, and usually have several remodeling jobs going on at any one time. We operate on a friendly basis and try to not work at too hectic of a pace, unless a situation dictates it. We are always striving to have a friendly and supportive workplace, and do not put up with toxic individuals or bs. We have several independent contractors on the side that sometimes bid work or go on the clock for one-offs. Please list your work history, tool collection, and work vehicle. We can negotiate reasonable relocation fees. The housing situation would be a room in a house we own, where we currently house one of our independent contractors.
