Hi there, I am trying to rehome a hamster. We took him in from some family members due to financial hardship and then they moved out of state. So it was supposed to be temporary, and turned into a permanent situation. I don’t have the time to care to for him unfortunately. His cage broke so he lives in a huge tub container (which I hear is more humane because of the space he has). He will come with all the stuff I have for him. Also he isn’t trained and it will take him time to get used to you. He is pretty fearful of humans and handling its very stressful to him. He did bite me one time because he got stuck in his old cage when it broke and he was really stressed, but he didn’t break any skin. He doesn’t love me, but lets my boyfriend pet him. So I’m sure if you put the time in he would bond with you, I just don’t have that time. Craigslist asks to be cautious about not charging a rehoming fee, so I will charge what you think is fair to pay. I just wanna find this guy a good loving home.
