Description Danfoss, a global market leader in climate and energy, has an opening in its Loves Park, IL facility for a Material Control Attendant in the Logistics Department. This person understands and acts upon instructions and procedures in order to process replenishment/Kanban tickets and stock parts. The individual we are looking for is self-sufficient, hard-working and able to work efficiently and productively in a fast paced warehouse environment. Job Responsibilities Drive Class C (NON CDL) truck up to 26,000 lbs with air brakes. Pick parts for production lines and move materials throughout the warehouse using forklift, hand truck or carts. Verify parts picked and complete SAP transactions in scanners and screens. Timely responses to email or phone requests. Participation in special projects and/or teams (as required). Take accurate physical inventory, cycle counting. Receive cross-training as determined by supervisor. Even though recreational use of Marijuana is legal in Illinois, Danfoss still has a zero tolerance policy for pre-employment as well as post accident testing. Must have Non-CDL class C license and have experience driving air brakes. Must be 18 years of age. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required Ability to communicate verbally and understand written instructions in English Must have a non-CDL class C license in order to drive box trucks.
