13-year-old Warmblood gelding, 16.3, good-natured, athletic, well-trained and all-around nice horse is available for half lease in Oregon. Boarded at a barn with indoor and outdoor arena and trails. The ideal fit: - Intermediate to experienced rider with an interest in flat work, dressage, trail riding, low-level eventing, small jumps, or simply recreational riding - Confident and balanced to allow for athletic movement of a large-framed athletic horse - No 'diva', no 'boss mare', no attitudes - Sincere, heart-based interest in horses - Finds caring for the horse and spending quality time just as important as riding What you get: - Sensitive, well-trained gelding, who is looking for a dialog with the rider (not a dead-broke, shut-down horse) - Use of the horse for recreational riding, fun shows, small jumps, lower level dressage, trail riding 3 days per week on scheduled days (not Mondays) - A real looker for great social media pics (if that is your thing ;-) What is expected: -You feed (prepared) grain on the days you ride -You clean the horse on the days you ride -You clean the tack after you ride -You communicate -No barn work, stall cleaning or similar involved - just ride and normal horse/tack care on riding days Monthly half lease for 3 days per week – $230/month Please reach out to me via email and tell me a little bit about yourself.
