I am a Deck Contractor and have several Decks coming up in the next few months and so I am short staffed presently. I will take a square foot labor bid on the framing and I am also looking for a few framers to work hourly on random decks also. So please specify if you are an hourly guy or a qualified framer that wants to bid work. If you are a framer I assume you will bring your own compressor and guns and hoses and hand tools to the site. If you are going to bid on these decks, here are the specs to bid on for a very basic upcoming deck: 12 x 10' deck (12 feet long 10 feet wide) Approximately 10 feet above grade No stairs no landings just a 120 SF rectangular deck 3-6 x 6 posts Double 2 x 8 beam 6 x 6 posts notched to accept beam Joist hangers on both ledgers House side ledger will be"ledger locked" into existing house ledger I NEED A SQUARE FOOT PRICE OR I WILL NOT REPLY TO ANY FRAMING CREWS. PLEASE DON'T ASK ME FOR A SITE VISIT FIRST THIS IS ABOUT AS BASIC AND AS SIMPLE A DECK FRAME CAN BE TO BID IT Please also include your availability with your quote. I will only answer those the provide the requested information. These projects are within 10 miles of Pottstown typically. Also if you are an "hourly guy" please include a summary of your experience and what tools you will bring to the site. I need craftsman that don't cut corners that will take pride in their work and who will show up on time each day. If you can't do this, please don't waste our time. Your time is valuable and so is mine.
