Description

Rehoming my 1 year old Aussie collie. (Mom is blue merle Aussie, dad is border collie) Bday June 6, 2020. 55 lbs Utd on shots, on heartworm/ flea prevention medication. Crate trained, potty trained, rings bell to go potty. Commands like: sit, stay, lay, roll over, bang bang, come, no, crate, up, down, hug, kisses. Will return to you when making whistles noises. Loves tug of war, cuddles & car rides. Affectionate w/ kids ( I have two smaller kids) but isn’t aware of his size sometimes. Eats 1/2 scoop merrik back country 2x a day. Looking for a forever home for my sweet boy. He’s very affectionate once he gets to know you, at first he may be nervous. Has some separation anxiety, he will go #2 in the house a lot if you are not with him. No accidents in crate. That’s why he is crated when we are gone. Doesn’t chew up things he’s not suppose to. Loves his toys especially when playing with people. Bone/ treat lover. I am rehoming him because he has had a seizure June 17th after he was a year old & just had another one in July. When he wakes up from seizures he is confused for the first 1-3 minutes and is aggressive. Each time he’s had a seizure it was in the crate. But I can’t chance it w/ having small children. Please have a vet if you are inquiring about him & get blood work done to see what it could possibly be. Ozzy needs walks or big yard.. someone to play fetch with and get his energy out. Not the dog for a homebody, he’s a herding dog. He does not bite the kids when they run :) we have trained him not to. Great w/ other dogs. Smaller ones he will nip at their legs or pull their tail to herd & play so I don’t recommend he be with one. He runs beside them and plays. We are sad to let him go for his health issues.. but it is for the safety of our children. Please text if you’d like to meet him. Serious inquires only! $100 small rehoming fee. I will probably take him to the vet to see what’s wrong and get blood work. Might keep him and put him on cbd treats if no inquiries. He’s honestly a great dog, aside from the seizures.
