Job Title: Facilities Manager Hours: 20 hours per week through 8/31/21, then 30 hours per week Pay Scale: $300/week through 8/31/21, then $450/week or $23,400 annually as an independent contractor Take ownership of the physical appearance and cleanliness of CSLDallas and its surrounding space contributing to a positive first impression and experience for all who visit and congregate here. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: -Create, maintain and execute a schedule for cleaning the campus, paying particular attention to preparing for weekends on Friday or Saturday and preparing the week on Sunday evening or Monday morning. -Ensure that the community areas including fixtures and furnishings (both internal and external) are always maintained and cleaned using Sacred Sparklers Volunteer team as support. -Arrange and distribute furnishings as required for classes and special functions -Responsible for routine and preventative maintenance -Carryout general repairs and routine handyman type tasks such as paint touch ups, light bulb changes and wall repair as needed using Facilities Team for support. -Identify and report the need for major repairs as and when required -Responsible for leading and managing volunteers who assist with facilities tasks -Maintain and ensure adequate inventories of supplies -Laundry service for kitchen and table cloths -Arrange and maintain storage rooms -Run errands as required -Interact with vendors and service providers -Respond to emergency issues and escalate as necessary Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Managing Director Receives regular feedback on performance Educational/Skill Requirements -Previous general office cleaning and light handyman experience -Moderately heavy lifting and ability to be fast-paced -Well-organized and efficient in problem-solving with good communication skills -Being reliable, proactive, flexible, self- motivated and attentive to detail with the ability to honor deadlines are a must to be successful in this position.
