We are currently seeking ​an experienced Service Writer to become part of our growing team. Responsibilities: • Greet Customers • Answer Phones • Maintain the Schedule for Mechanical Work • Write Service/Work Orders • Prepare Customer Repair Estimates • Order Parts • Work with Mechanics/Technicians to make sure they have the necessary parts and time to complete jobs • Complete Work Orders with Mechanics Notes and Recommendations • Cash Out Customers and Thank them for their continued business • Maintain the cleanliness of the service desk and customer waiting area • Plus more... ​ Qualifications: • Previous experience as an automotive service writer, parts advisor, technician/mechanic, or other equally related field • Ability to operate web based labor programs and familiarity with Alldata or other time based estimating programs • Ability to operate web based parts programs and familiarity with ordering and tracking parts • Deadline and Detail-Oriented • Must be able to Multi-Task within a High Traffic and Busy Atmosphere • Dependable Work Ethic • Familiarity with Quick-Books and Protractor operating systems are a plus We are an established automotive repair company with two locations and a 13 year history in Portsmouth, NH. And we offer the following; *Full time: Monday - Friday 8 am until 5 pm (with an hour lunch) *Competitive pay (pay to commensurate with experience) *Paid Holidays (6 major holidays, starts right away) *3 Paid Sick/Personal days per calendar year (available after 30 days) *Paid vacation after 1 year of service. *Any unused sick/personal and or vacation days will be bought back at the end of the year. *Health Reimbursement Arrangement (we contribute $$ toward your health plan) *No Weekends
