gauging interest in having a drum circle on 7/24. Ideally, this would turn into a regular event either weekly or monthly. Scouting location is Livingston Park @ 6pm. First hour will be an intro to drum circle rhythms and instruction on circle signals. BRING YOUR OWN CHAIRS!!! All percussion and ages are welcome! Djembe, congas, darbuka, bongos, cajóns, surdo….Dont have a drum? Thats ok. Grab an empty bottle and a stick! Shakers, bells, wood blocks, triangle, rattles, cabasa, maracas, …etc, etc… Not into making music? We got you! There’s going to be plenty of music to dance to if thats more your style. Spectators are more than welcome as well. Im also looking for others with experience for help in organizing and leading this event. If you have circle experience and are willing to lend a hand please reach out to me.
