Description
Jake is a super playful, purebred Golden Retriever. He is crate and potty trained. He knows both verbal and non verbal (hand gesture) commands: sit, down, paw or shake, and wait. He would do well with an active individual, couple, or family. He would do well with another dog companion as he likes having company. We have 2 young kids and a bunny and he does well with all. His ideal home would be someone who enjoys going on trail walks or hiking.
He is not fixed as we hadn't decided whether or not we would be breeding him. We got him Nov 2019 and of course didn't expect that our lives would be thrown by the pandemic, my husband and I are both health care workers so it has been a long busy year and a half for us both. It has taken a huge mental and emotional toll on me and thus we have not been able to continue dedicating the time we have needed to him and for this reason we are rehoming him.
He has no health concerns and has also never had any GI issues. But he is not up to date on his shots.
He is on the smaller side of the breed, his dad was a smaller golden and his mom was the standard golden. We have enjoyed the fact that he is on the smaller side as it makes it easier to travel with him in the car. We are asking 600 for rehoming.
