Maintenance Tech - Handyman Craigslist Global Connections, Inc. (owns Beso Del Sol) is a travel company that has been in business for over 25 years. We have a few small properties, including this beautiful oceanfront view. Beso Del Sol Resort - Updated Boutique Hotel Must be available on weekends and on-call We are looking for a Maintenance Technician with experience in hotels, resorts or apartments. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Daily property walk-thru • Oversee repairs and maintenance with vendors to minimize risk and ensuring projects are completed in a timely fashion. • Maintain pools, landscaping, utilities, roads, signage, clubhouse, and other community infrastructure elements and improve the quality of the community by maintaining public areas in a clean and safe fashion. • Greet guests and assist their needs • Offer suggestions on repairs and get cost estimates QUALIFICATIONS: • Highschool diploma, GED, or equivalent • At least two years general experience in building trades, plumbing (interior and exterior), repair and replacement maintenance or handy work. • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Light computer skills for emails and task lists. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to lift 50 –100 lbs. following appropriate safety procedures. • Must kneel, bend, crawl, stretch and walk the park. • Environmental working conditions may include (e.g. heat, cold, wind, and rain); • Ability to navigate quickly and easily the property/building as required to meet the job functions and direct venders to site locations. • Must comply with a safety sensitive environment.
