ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Cutting steel pipe on saw to desired lengths. • Cutting and cleaning pvc to desired lengths. • Operating and maintaining parts tumbler. • Cleaning and properly handling aluminum parts such as channels and I-beams. • Assist machine operator on drilling or sanding parts. • Cutting and grinding bolts to desired lengths. • Help maintaining shop cleanliness and organization. • Safely operate a forklift a plus but not mandatory. • Experience with hand grinders, sanders, auto saw and band saws, piranha (break & shear) ironworker A PLUS! WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED • Self starter and motivated. • Great work ethic and attention to detail. • Perform safe warehouse / shop practices. • Team and goal oriented. • Ability to properly read a tape measure. • Be capable of working in a non climate controlled warehouse. • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, lift, reach and twist repetitively for long periods. • Knowledge and experience of marine construction a plus but not necessary.
